Now, on first instance, it's said to be wanting what's best for the ppl around us, etc; it's not wrong, and it's the thing we're commanded to do. However, here's the catch. The second part, as yourself. Now, if we cant even love ourselves, how do we love others? If we dont even desire the best of ourselves, how do we desire the best for others?
Loving ourselves doesn't mean we become some self-centered bitch, but it generally means that we shouldn't have low self-esteem. I'm nt a very talented person, but I dont look down on myself. I mean, what's the point? Lol.
